Spiritual Care

While The Lutheran Care Network is a ministry outreach of the Lutheran Church with deep roots in the protestant tradition, our residents and staff represent a great diversity of faith traditions. Our spiritual care providers are open and caring to all persons and they are specifically trained to be of service to people of all faiths. At Hudson Valley Senior Residence, a Lutheran pastor is available regularly and, when requested, can assist residents in connecting with a network of other clergy.

  • A Protestant worship service is offered every Wednesday. On Saturdays, a hymn and reflection time – Harmony and Conversation is offered with Pastor Paul. In addition to one-on-one visits, the Pastor often visits residents when hospitalized or in rehab.
  • In our Living Room, a regularly scheduled Rosary and Communion Service is provided on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. In addition, Catholic Mass is celebrated on the first Friday of each month at 1:00 p.m.
  • On alternate Monday afternoons at 2:30 p.m., residents may also choose to participate in a scheduled Bible Study Program.
